Baruch Ata YHVH, our Maker and Redeemer. Thank You for this final day of Sukkot, Hoshanah Rabbah. We come before You with humble hearts, crying out for mercy and for the fullness of Your Ru’ach. Sweep over Your people with revival, awaken the remnant, and draw us into deeper repentance and glad obedience. Baruch YHVH.
As we lift the bread and the cup, we remember Yahusha HaMashiach - the Living Water and the Bread from heaven. His body was given for us, His blood sealed the covenant. In this moment we receive His life and proclaim our dependence upon His salvation. Baruch YHVH.
Hoshanah Rabbah is the culminating cry of the Feast of Booths - a day of supplication, sealing, and hope. The priests circled the altar and the people cried out, asking YHVH to save and to send His blessings. Today we join that cry: Hoshiah na - Save us, please!
“And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of YHVH shall be saved.”
- Yo’el 2:32 (YAH Scriptures)
This day carries prophetic weight. It looks forward to the outpouring of YHVH’s Ru'ach and the final redemption of Yisra’el. In Paleo-Messianic understanding, Hoshanah Rabbah also foreshadows the final outpouring of YHVH’s Ru'ach and the final redemption of Yisra’el - the moment of the “Great Salvation” when Yahusha is revealed in fullness.
The water-pouring and the singing were not merely ritual - they were prophetic acts that announced living water and abundant life. Yahusha Himself invited the thirsty to come and drink, promising rivers of living water from within those who believed.
“And on that day, living waters shall flow out from Yerushalayim… and YHVH shall be King over all the earth.”
- Zekaryah 14:8-9 (YAH Scriptures)
Today, present your petitions and your praise. Seek restoration for your household, intercede for the nations, and stand ready for the outpouring. The sukkah that sheltered our fathers points us to a greater Shelter - the Presence of YHVH that will one day cover all the earth.
Baruch Ata YHVH, Elohim of Yisra’el. Pour out Your Ru’ach upon all flesh. Bring the revelation of Yahusha in power to Israel and to the nations. Seal the prayers of Your people and answer with mercy, rain, and revival. Strengthen us to walk in holiness and in joyful expectation of Your coming. Baruch YHVH.
“Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: YHVH is our Elohim, YHVH is one.
And you shall love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your might.
And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.
And you shall teach them diligently to your children, and you shall speak of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
- Devarim 6:4-9 (YAH Scriptures)
“YHVH bless you, and keep you;
YHVH make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
YHVH lift up His face upon you, and give you peace.”
- Bemiḏbar 6:24-26 (YAH Scriptures)
Until tomorrow. Shalom!
