🌿 SUKKOT DAY 6

Theme: “Joy in the Rain - Refreshing of the Spirit”

🤲🏻 Opening Prayer

Baruch Ata YHVH, our Elohim, Creator of heaven and earth. Thank You for this sixth day of Sukkot - a time of rejoicing, of rain, and renewal. May the showers of Your presence refresh our souls, wash away the dust of striving, and renew our hearts in Your Torah and truth. Baruch YHVH.

🍷 Communion

As we partake of the bread and cup, we remember the covenant of life in Yahusha. His body was broken so we could be made whole. His blood was poured out so we could be cleansed and renewed. May our fellowship be pure before You, and our hearts dwell in joy under Your covering. Baruch YHVH.

📖 Message

The sixth day of Sukkot reminds us of the coming - rain of righteousness - and the restoration of Yisra’el. It is a time to rejoice before YHVH with hearts that have been softened by repentance and strengthened by His Spirit. The sukkah teaches us dependence, but the rain teaches us renewal.

“Ask YHVH for rain in the time of the latter rain, YHVH who makes storm clouds. And He gives them showers of rain, the plants in the field to everyone.”
- Zeḵaryah 10:1 (YAH Scriptures)

The rain of YHVH is not only physical - it is also spiritual. His Ruach refreshes the weary and restores the broken. When the people of Yisra’el rejoiced in the Feast of Booths, they did so knowing that joy opens the heavens for blessing.

“You shall draw water with joy from the fountains of deliverance.”
- Yeshayahu 12:3 (YAH Scriptures)

Yahusha Himself stood up on the last great day of Sukkot and cried out:

“If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me, and let him who believes in Me drink. As the Scripture said, out of His innermost shall flow rivers of living water.”
- Yoḥanan 7:37-38 (YAH Scriptures)

This promise reveals that the water-pouring ceremony of Sukkot pointed to the outpouring of the Ruach HaQodesh. The joy in the rain is the joy in His presence.

“He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass, like showers watering the earth.”
- Tehillim 72:6 (YAH Scriptures)

Today, we stand before YHVH rejoicing that He still sends His rain in season. The early and latter rains are reminders that the same Elohim who brought deliverance in the past will bring refreshing again in the end. Let us be vessels open to receive His rain. The sukkah may be temporary, but the presence of YHVH within us is eternal.

🤲🏻 Closing Prayer

Baruch Ata YHVH, our Source of life and rain. Thank You for refreshing our spirits and reminding us of Your faithfulness. May Your Ruach continue to fall upon Your people, bringing healing, unity, and renewal to all who call upon Your Name. Strengthen us to remain steadfast in joy as we await the fullness of Your kingdom. Baruch YHVH.

🕎 Shema

“Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: YHVH is our Elohim, YHVH is one.
And you shall love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your might.
And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.
And you shall teach them diligently to your children,
And you shall speak of them when you sit in your house,
And when you walk by the way,
And when you lie down,
And when you rise up.
And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
And you shall write them upon the doorposts of your house, and upon your gates.
- Devarim 6:4-9 (YAH Scriptures)

🔥 Blessing

“YHVH bless you, and keep you;
YHVH make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
YHVH lift up His face upon you, and give you peace.”
- Bemiḏbar 6:24-26 (YAH Scriptures)

Until tomorrow. Shalom!
