Theme: Rejoicing in the Living Torah
Baruch Ata YHVH, our Elohim and King of the universe, Who has brought us through Sukkot into this day of rejoicing. May our hearts dance before You as David danced, may our lips sing Your praise, and may our lives reflect the Torah of Yahusha the Living Word. Baruch YHVH.
We partake of the bread and the cup, symbols of His body and blood. As we eat and drink, we rejoice that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. His covenant is everlasting, His joy our strength. Baruch YHVH.
Simchat Torah marks both an end and a beginning - the completion of the Torah readings and the renewal of our walk in the Word. As we roll the scroll back to Bereshith, we are reminded that YHVH’s Word never ends — it cycles, it renews, and it gives life.
“The Torah of YHVH is perfect, bringing back the being; the witness of YHVH is trustworthy, making wise the simple.”
- Tehillim 19:7 (YAH Scriptures)
True joy flows from obedience. Today we rejoice not only that the Torah has been given, but that it has been written upon our hearts through the Ru’ach ha’Qodesh. Yahusha, the Living Torah, rejoices with us when we walk in truth and love.
“For this is the covenant I shall make with the house of Yisra’el after those days, declares YHVH: I shall put My Torah in their inward parts, and write it on their hearts. And I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.”
- Yirmeyahu 31:33 (YAH Scriptures)
As we close Sukkot and enter this time of rejoicing, may our dance be prophetic — a declaration that His Word lives, His covenant endures, and His Kingdom is coming. Let your voice rise, let your feet move, and let your heart overflow with joy in His Torah!
Baruch Ata YHVH, Giver of the Living Word. Thank You for the Torah of life and the joy of salvation through Yahusha HaMashiach. May our celebration bring honour to You, and may Your Word dwell richly within us as we shine Your light to the nations. Baruch YHVH.
“Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: YHVH is our Elohim, YHVH is one.
And you shall love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your might.
And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.
And you shall teach them diligently to your children,
And you shall speak of them when you sit in your house,
And when you walk by the way,
And when you lie down,
And when you rise up.
- Devarim 6:4-9 (YAH Scriptures)
“YHVH bless you, and keep you;
YHVH make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
YHVH lift up His face upon you, and give you peace.”
- Bemiḏbar 6:24-26 (YAH Scriptures)
Until next tomorrow. Shalom!
